                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 2513,
                   2515, 2517 8TH AVENUE, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST
                   LINE OF 8TH AVENUE SOUTHWEST OF EAST 24TH
                   STREET PLACE FROM R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO M-1
                   MANUFACTURING ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
             
              A tract of land located at 2513, 2515, 2517 8th Avenue,
              being on the northwest line of 8th Avenue southwest of
              East 24th Street Place.  Lots 7, 8, and 9, block C, Fort
              Cheatham (Hagan's Subdivision), as shown by plat of
              record in plat book 2, page 33, R.O.H.C., being the
              property described in deed book 3481, page 941, R.O.H.C. 
              Tax Map No. 156J-G-35, 36, and 37.
             
         from R-3 Residential Zone to M-1 Manufacturing Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the 
public
         welfare requiring it.
